Fareea Lara Foundation
The Fareea Lara Foundation was established in 1998 to honor the legacy of Fareea Lara, a pioneering pilot whose life tragically ended on September 27 of the same year due to a catastrophic mechanical failure of the Cessna 150 aircraft she was piloting. Beyond her role as a pilot, Fareea Lara was a visionary advocate for women’s empowerment, firmly believing in the inherent potential of every woman to overcome obstacles and achieve their aspirations.
As a testament to Fareea Lara’s unwavering commitment to this cause, the foundation was founded by individuals who shared her vision and values. Rooted in these principles, the foundation is dedicated to continuing Fareea Lara’s mission by offering support, resources, and opportunities to women from diverse backgrounds. Through various programs, initiatives, and scholarships, the foundation endeavors to empower women to pursue their goals, striving to create a world where gender no longer serves as a barrier to realizing one’s full potential.
